Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
What do some of you do to teach the wingback/TE block on buck sweep? We have used the term "railroad tracks" to teach them. They are to imagine they are on a set of train rails. As they go down the rails, anything that gets on the track, they block.
On blocks on the line, we want the head inside. On blocks on the second level, we get the head to the outside.

We tell our TE that if the DE is headup(6 tech.) or outside shade(9 tech.) then the wingback will block the DE, if the DE is inside(7 tech.) the TE will block the DE. We have them give a me-you call and the other know to go to the next defender inside or secodn level based on alignment.
We tell our wingbacks not to chase any defender that is headup to outside of the wing and let the PSG kickout that defender and block the 1st defender inside(above rules w/TE)
