The OC from bowling green was pretty good. I have my notes at home, but there is some good thoughts of what they do in the gun. I will try and post them tonight.
I do not know when there clinic is. Sorry!

The BGSU clinic is on april 8 and 9. I also heard that over the next couple of Fridays that the staff is making themselves available to HS coaches before spring football starts. I'm looking in to this. Also BG's O.C wasn't at the clinic as far as I know. I was there. The guy that talked from BG was their Recievers coach Zach Azanni. Their O.C is also their O.L coach, Greg Studrawa. Very intense individual.
Bowling Green Run Game Notes from Minneapolis Glazier Clinic: Greg Strudawa Off Coord.
Offensive Line and Run Game musts:
Physical - Knee benders Use Zone Scheme - Helmet on a Helmet Get downfield - make a 2nd block Targets - know aiming points and understand defenses gap responsibilty Be alert on def. line adjustments Get BIG movement on 1st level defenders Get 2nd step down. (2nd step wins)
Zone blocking - QB responsible to read the bs DE. Backside receivers always block for the QB.
6 in the box is always a run, 6 1/2 or 7 in box get out read play and pass the ball.
Must work combo blocks vs all shades each week in practice.
When defenses start to play a twist game on the backside with the DE and Will to confuse the QB on the read. They will make a sift call: BS T will step down into B gap like zone, and then will rock back and cut the DE who is in a chase to the RB and now the QB blocks the Will with carrying out the read fake.
He also talked a little about speed option and trap from the gun, but most of his run game period was on the read play.

No problem. I know there were coaches who spoke at both as well. How was the clinic in Toledo? The Minneapolis clinic was very good. Getting to be a huge clinic! I heard well over 1000 coaches. Had an opportunity to meet Coach Campbell and listened to Coach Campbell on his zone schemes. Great info!!!

How do you make any kind of audible adjustment, or any kind of adjustment really, after the ball is snapped? I have always thought that we were pretty much locked into what we have to go with on that play, if the ball has already been put in play. I would think it would have to be a PSL call, and then it would just be a guess on the QB's part, wouldn't it?

The sift call is made by the coaches. If they are seeing a lot of the DE and Will Lber switching responsibilty for the QB on the read play then they will call 14/15 Read "Sift". Then the tackle knows he has to block the DE, rather than climbing to the scrape Lber. It is a guessing game, because if they don't run the stunt then you have the Lber running untouched to the football. That is why this is such a great game!!
