Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
We haven't but we are looking at right now. We just put it on a card for our 7 on 7 this summer. How about you. Are you looking at installing the H option? What concerns do you have?

Our understanding of the play is that the H option is outside receivers run verticals and the 2 most inside receivers run option routes. vs. zone has the option to find the hole either inside or outside at 5-7 yards. Vs. man has the option to run a in or a out at 5-7 yards. Can be run from 2x2 or 3x2 sets.

Thanks, we are looking at that - especially with the no-back set. With no-back, we're thinking about making the option route a default for the one of the inside receivers (but with a vertical seam option also - working on the rules). That way we don't have to redesign a whole new package and can use what we have in place. We're also looking at modifying a couple of our current pass plays that might work with a single option route. We have a specific receiver that we feel will work well with this option scheme.
We're thinking about calling the route based on who/where we want him to "option" - either hole, curl, or flat. We're not sure about the whole thing yet though - just playing with some concepts. I'd like to hear more info and ideas on this topic.
