GT Counter Question

Most gun people run some sort of read scheme to account for the bsde.

We have had the center just block back to a 4, but he has to be pretty good.

You can also run gh where you keep the bsot and still pull the guard for a kickout and the backside slot for the lead through.

Well, an easy answer is to get in trips to the backside. They probably won't have a 4 and 9 then. You will have a 9 playside which is fine.

Still pull the guard and tackle. Center blocks back on the 4, who is probably slanting inside anyway if there is a 9 out there. The 9 should be removed for the read. The playside 9 will either be

1. outside the kickout, so it doesn't matter
2. the guy you kick out if the ps 4 comes hard inside and the psot washes him

If you don't want to get in trips, the easiest answer is then, to just run the qb counter. Have the back block back on the guy you would read and still run the gt like normal.

If they have 2 nines with that look. Throw the ball.
