i was embarrassed to ask your question. having played for 15 and coached for 7, i have no idea what he is talking about.

I have heard of Gap-down-Backer rules for Bucksweep in the Wing-T. and i personally use these types of rules for my blocking assignments.

G.O.D> Gap On Down.. S.A.B> Sever Angle Blocking.. G.O.A> Gap. On. Area. To me this sounds to be the same as gap on down. Any how it was brought to my attention by a double wing coach in lathrop CA. He told me he uses the GOA blocking system, he said it was "gap/ on/ area" I never heard of it this is why I asked!
