I know that most D2 and NAIA schools divide their scholarship money up between their players. Meaning they might give one kid half a full ride and 2 other kids a quarter of a full ride, for example. Im just wondering if any of you guys know what the "norm" is for dividing this $$? How often do they dish out a full ride??

My brother is a senior this year and he could be a quality NAIA lineman which is the main reason I asked. He has a 3.0 GPA, 21 on the ACT and he is 6'0 220...he should be a full qualifer for aid as well. Im trying to figure out if he could get his schooling paid for.

He is drawing interest from many of the "local" D3 and NAIA schools. He is Co-Captain, 2 year starter and 3 year letterman...im fully confident he could be a great fit for a small college. He definetly has room on his frame to pack on a lot more size as well.
well i am not sure if you know, but NAIA can only hand out a 500 dollar scholarship for athletes, they can however give out room waivers and meal plans and academics, any D3 school can't give out any scholarships for athletes, not sure if that helps.
I know some NAIA players who actually got money back each year (Pell Grants) and did not pay a dime for school. NAIA gives out money - depending on who it is.
NAIA can do a lot of things. Some may split up a specific amount of scholarships (that could depend on the league they are in or the school and their budget - different across the NAIA). Urbana's assistant coach came in and told me they have 26 scholarships available and they will give the right kid the full amount! So there is plenty of money out there. I would call these two great programs:
