Split Back Veer.

(based on personnel, etc.) What steps do any of you teach the QB on the outside veer?

Well I've been running the veer since 1998. Tell your QB to take a hard 90 degree step to the right. The second step should allow the QB to get parallel. The third and fourth steps should emulate the first two. Tell your QB to give the ball to the dive back unless that end turns his far shoulder and crashes. I hope this helps.
