The team we are playing this week just showed a 3-3-5 in their game tonight (formerly a 4-3 or 4-4) any advice? Treat it like a 5-3 and formation them out? Run Power? I have never faced this type of front...
Line up in Double Tight Power I and run the ball off-tackle. This is the best way to attack the 3-3-5, because you will have enough blockers at the point of attack to do what you need.

One formation to run is a twins look. This will remove the Strong Safety and you can read the stack. We have found this to effective. Another formation that is good against 3-3-5 teams is trips with a tight end. You can bring it back to the tight end or run twirl motion and you have your pitchback.
would you prefer to send the P/S T straight to mike and combo the nose with the P/S G and C or try and get the P/S T to the stack LB, P/S G to mike and cut the nose with the C?
Coach, we've faced a 3-3 look four times this season, and we have had monumental success running speed option. We run a four-wide, single back set. We hook the end and option off the stacked backer. We've got the SS and the corner blocked, so the FS has to come up and make the play.
