Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Does anyone run belly from a flexbone look? Currently we are a fullhouse team, next year plan to add the flexbone as one of our sets. Is it possible from a timing aspect to run belly or do you scrape it from this formation?
Since the main principle of the belly series is to send one back through one hole and the other back through another, don't see the problem of running it out of the flexed bone. You will still have two backs to work with. Will call for somewhat of an adjustment in blocking assingments with the third back flexed.

Last year their was a big conversation on the inside belly and double dive. You can probably search the archives for it, believe some of the entries were from guys who use it in flexbone/spread option formations. I would think that the Playside SB can still JILL (to use Coach Campbell's term) to lead a backside SB/WB who starts in tail motion. Just an amature, but I think it will work.
