Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
When running power and you bring the BSG to wrap, the TE just kicks out the 6-9 tech, right? I notice you use the term STALK, who is he stalking? If the TE blocks down, then we kick the DE with the FB, right?
I know it's that old semantics thing again, but a stalk block is what a WR does to a DB in my terminology. How do you use the term?

Coach, we USUALLY do not use a tight end in our offense. The split end stalk blocks the Cornerback. This means that if the cornerback moves inward, the SE will drive him inward. If the cornerback runs outward, the SE will drive him outward. If the cornerback does nothing, RUN HIM OVER! It's the old Lombardi philosophy as he used on the sweep with his Y-End, "Take the defender where he wants to go."
Once again, our SE Stalk blocks, our slotback blocks the first inside defender, if there is no one inside, block the nearest inside linebacker, and all offensive linemen do the same thing until we get to the backside guard who pulls and leads through the hole... he will most likely block the scraping linebacker... and yes, Jerry, we want him to seal the scraping linebacker.
I hope this answered your question, Jerry.
