Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Im trying to figure this out and I cant! If we run isv to te what is his rules. What I was thinking was this: If there is no wb he will block the wb's rules. But if there is a te and a wing what do you tell the te to do?
My rules are this;Inside receiver takes precedence. If I have a TE/wing,then the TE will seal,double/combo,or arc block. The WB will arc to CB or FS.If I have a Slotback and a split end,the SB will seal,double/combo,or arc block. The SE will block CB or FS.I precall blocking assignment in the huddle and give the QB and TE/WB the option to change the block at the L.O.S.by communicating.
Most schools have the TE arc release. I always had him block the inside linebacker, which is what the slotback does now. If you run veer to the TE/Wing side, the wing has to stalk the corner--I would have the tight end block the inside linebacker, but many teams arc the TE to the safety.

We do not want to pull pitch on inside veer so what we tell the te is if we run veer his way he is to base block man on. If it stretches the qb turns it up the seam. We want to pitch off the force defender.

ISV towards the tight end is taught easiest release. If faced with a 7 technique then arc release to outside jersey number of the invert. If faced with a 9 technique take the inside release. Coach CAmpbell
