I watch the NFL Network all the time but I dont think I have seen the show you mentioned. I usually see the following shows (NFL All Access, Six days to Sunday, In Their Own Words, etc..).

Free agents request a tryout with the team that involves a 40 and drill work. Film is also provided to respective teams if available. If the team sees enough potential in the player's initial workout, they will then invite them to participate in a mini-camp or other camp session. A player's agent often times is the difference whether a player gets a look or not based on his reputation and work for other athletes.
