Predictive Modeling - Used for Defensive Booth Staff, possible?

I'm not a statistician, just a guy with an Excel spreadsheet.
I've entered historical game data from last season of this season's opponents into a spreadsheet. The data includes;

down.distance.yard line.hash.run/pass.rt/lt. totheY/awayfromY.field/boundary.formation.play

Excel allows for quite a bit of sorting. My question;

-Do you think historical data such as run/pass ratio on first downs,field/boundary rushes. etc. can be useful in the booth?

I know there are a lot of variables to be considered (opponent staff, weather, etc). Also, the volume of plays used to create a "profile" will influence the results.

I've been reading this board for the longest time. There are some real good football minds here and any/all feedback would be greatly appreciated.
