Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I tore my meniscus again the second week of camp(college). It's very hard for me take it all in. All the work in the off season at this point means nothing. I need help to decide what I should do. I could have surgery on it and hope to come back in the tail end of the season, but I probably won't play since I would've been out for most of the season. I could consentrate on next year and just work on rehab and eventually getting better. Now, here is the kicker, do I stay on the team and attend every practice, every meeting etc, as a result quit my job(was going to do anyway). Or keep the job and make money to pay off the out-ragious amount of money I will have to pay to have surgery done since my insurance sucks. What would you do?
One factor to consider is, what year are you (fresh, soph, etc). Another one is, how bad do you want to play football? Do you have any other means to help you pay the cost of medical care (parents insurance, etc).
If you are a "Rudy" type of kid, where all you have ever wanted to do is play college football, then you should direct your efforts in that direction and live out your dream while you still can. If that is the direction you choose, then Yes, you should attend any/all meetings practices etc., that you can. This will show the coach your sincerity and more importantly, your commitment to the program. This may help upon your return.
I wish you the best of luck in whatever you decide!
I agree with Duke; unless there is absolutely no possible financial solution other than keeping your job, I would still be a member of the program. Duke mentioned the coaches, and I think it would also send a great message to the other players as well.
