Youth Football Line Splits

First i would like to say thank you for all of your input and advice. I found this site and i keep coming back for more. My question is the following. What are the best line splits for 4th grade youth football. We play in the mid america youth program. We see alot of 6-3 and 6-5 defenses. We had a high school football camp in early august. It was a 3rd grade thru 6th grade camp. I helped coach with the oline at the beginning of the camp and then worked my way around so that we had equal amount of coaches at each position. We were coaching 2 foot splits on the oline. I found out very quickly when we scimmaged other 4th grade teams this was not going to work with our 4th graders. We cut the spits to 1 foot. It helped but with the 6-3 and 6-5 defenses we got alot of penetration in the A gaps over the center so we moved the guard splits down to 6 inches. What advice would you give? We inside zone block and we outside zone block on our sweeps. Thanks in advance.
