Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Our program has a great tradition. We have titles in three state decades and several state qualifying teams in the last 20 years. Unfortunately, with an addition of another hs in our district and the combination of a couple of below average classes, things are appearing that have never been part of our program. (even though we were over .500 last year)
After losses, the locker room is not a remoseful sanctuary; it sounds loud and full of "joy". It appears that losing is becoming accepted and isn't hurting. Some lesser players aren't willingly accepting their roles because we're losing. (There's no question they are not Friday night players.) When you're winning it's easy but we're now 0-4 and clowns and pouters are beginning to show. Obviously, these among other things need to be addressed. We have very few seniors and not any real good leaders. We're encouraging our juniors to step up and take ownership.
Does anyone have any advice? Have you been there? What would you do?
