Running mid-line from the gun (never done it before) to the right, I'm thinking about have the Qb take a big step to LOS at 11 o'clock, clear the back foot to clear for the FB path, then mesh and read the 3 technique, which still leaves him about 3 yds off the LOS. Seems like a good angle for him if he pulls, it would be hard to read the DT angle but would move the DT more obviously upfield if he takes the FB. It also increases the timing window for a defender to recover and fill and puts a bigger hit on the FB (3 more yards of aggressive pursuit for the DT).
I'd love to figure out how to run mid-line from the Gun, anyone done this or something else successfully?

We run it just like you say, one adjustment I had to make was to put the FB on the backside A gap instead of the midline so that the DL had more ground to have to cover. Kinda of the same idea as putting the FB on and A gap track in the Demeo Veer stuff.
