We run an invert cover 2 out of an okie 5-2 alignment and have the DTs and DEs pinch with safeties aligning 3X3 or 4 X 4 off the TE / OT.
I know the obvious answer is to throw the ball, but what do you guys do to run the option and not be forced to pitch? I like outside veer, but that can get tricky with that DE cutting for the QB's outside shoulder. Right now our game plan is to sprint out and run sweep, but am looking for some ideas.
