Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Coach Mountjoy, I read a discussion quite some time ago (likely this past winter or spring) discussing how much offense a team should have if running the spread and zone read and stuff like that. I thought I saved the convo, but I can't seem to find it. I believe that you had said something along the lines of, "If you can run . . . . . . . , then you'll surely be hard to defend." My questions are:
1. Do you still have that forum saved?
2. Do you remember the conversation?
3. Would you be willing to tell me your thoughts on the most important plays to be adept at executing in the spread (shotgun - 4 wides, or 3WR/1TE)?
Thanks so much for your help. I read a lot when I get a chance, and I often save what you have to say on various topics.
For anyone else, in any offense, whatever you run, if you could only have 6 plays (run and pass) total, what would they be?
