Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Tonight I was watching a taped game of Crespi High in CA vs Mater Dai, I was very interested in the offense that they ran. If anyone know's could you please email me and let me know where can I get info on this offense.
I saw a little film on Crespi. It looks like thier offense is very similar to the Pistol--only they move their QB and RB back a bit. Doesn't look like a normal spread. Almost looks like veer action on thier play fakes.

I haven't seen too much, just a handfull of plays--and not from good scout tape, mind you. But from what I saw, it looks similar in execution to the pistol, but it is more of a traditional shotgun drop. I'm not sure why you'd do that, but obviously it works for them. I suppose it is a bit better for the passing game than the pistol which is really supposed to be pretty run and option oriented.
