COACHES,

I am embarking on a project of writing a book on my version of the 3 x 2 spread passing game. It is now in the planning stages and will take a great deal of work to complete. My hope is that for the reader it will be most informative and offfer insight on how to install this great offense that has brought me a great deal of success over the years.

Please pray for me that God will allow this book to be inspirational not only with the x and 0's, but with the
intangibles of building a winning program from the ground up. It will incorporate 42 years of on field coaching experience. It has been a wonderful ride and one I want to share with football folks wherever they may be found.

Looking forward to being one of the first to purchase your book. As one of the many coaches inspired and encouraged by your dedication and your untired willingness to share the knowledge to coaches truly interested in the 3 x 2 Spread Offense I am sincerely honored to have you as my mentor in our offensive attack that I have worked on throughout the past two seasons.

You also have been a comforting hand to me in my personal life with the words of comfort, strength and belief in God as I have growing everyday in the past year since my mother's entrance into a new and eternal life with God into his heavenly kingdom last Christmas Eve.

I myself have been recovering slowly but steadily progressing forward from a recent knee placement surgery a few days after Thanksgiving.

I know that God will certainly have His Hand upon yours as you venture into putting your thoughts, ideas, and past experiences on the offense that you have created and refined over the past 40+ years in a certainly "best seller" in the football world.

As mentioned by another coach I, too, hope to have the chance for an autographed copy of a book I know that will always be a reference to my future planning of our offensive attack.

Football aside for a moment, I am really glad to hear of your new found relationship with Christ.
