I posted this on another site, but wanted to try here as well...
Anyone run the Wing-T similarly to as outlined in this book?
Mainly, we're wanting to install the "Counter Break" series
Ideas?
We're a Fly Sweep offense, but we could easily add this and run it as is, or fake the sweep in front of it. The concerns I have are in blocking it, and backfield footwork.
Obviously we'd block the FB trap as everyone else does, but I'm concerned about pulling the guard and/or tackle for the HB counter because of collisions with the FB. Am I better off having the QB give the ball underneath or over the top on the counter?
