Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I heard Dick Anderson PSU O-line coach speak this weekend talk about using a stall techinque with the uncovered OL when running inside zone. His Stall techinque was to have the OL take a flat lateral step then 2 more slide steps before working up field. The reason for this was to prevent penatration by a BS DLM (1 tech on center) and protect against front side twist(3 tech to A gap and Mike in B gap). Any one have any more info on the way PSU runs inside zone or the stall techinque. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with this techinque.

Interesting....I would also like to know more about this. It seems the biggest problem we have with the zone is getting a good backside 1 tech blocked if he comes off the center's butt on a hard stunt. Anyone with any ideas would be appreciated.
Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.
It sounds a new name for the primary level defender stab technique. You have to do this if you have a manchild at NG or thins get ugly fast. The Playside G doesn't step back side but keeps a solid distance between the center. he does this by keeping a flipper backside and if the flipper feels any pressure then he stabs hard and sticks or stabs hard and goes to the secondary level. It is not as complex as the college and pro=style zone but it integral in solid zone blocking.
Never five QBs, RBs, TEs, WRs, on the field every play, OFFENSIVE LINEMAN RULE.
