Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Hey coach Campbell, I don't know if you remember me but it's J. Houston in Kingsville. I'm the d-line coach at King High and would like to know if you know of any drills to coach staying low without chutes or an inexpensive way to get chutes. I 'd appreciate the help. Now and then.
I once worked at a school that could barely afford footballs, let alone chutes. I and the line coaches would stand in front of the athletes with our hands at our sides, at varying depths for different drills, and instructed the players that we did not want to see a helmet above them!!! No cost of any kind involved and worked just dandy!!!

We work on staying low all year round. One of the things that we do all off-season is hurdle drills (borrow them from the track team). We do step over-unders and lateral over-unders that really help our big guys get used to bending thier knees and getting low while developing hip mobility.
