This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I just read your chapter on Option On Me. It was straightforward and easy to comprehend. I feel I have a decent grasp of what your teaching here and the reasons behind it. I like the three basic rules you give give your QB at the line. But I have one question, is there a reason you don't include outside veer in this package? Do you just not run it very much or did you feel it doesn't fit in with the other plays packaged? Thanks in advance for any insight.

Marv the only reason is the footwork for the outside veer which doesn't mimiac any other scheme that I coach. The load option fits the blocking scheme easier for the kids when calling best option on the L.O.S.. Coach Campbell
We are a split back team and outside veer is a big part of our offense. It's probably our best play. Do you have any suggestions for incorporating outside veer into your basic check with me rules? Could I replace the load option with the outside veer and give it the same rule?

Coach most diffently can you will use the same reads and the blocking scheme for load is the same for outside veer. Let me know what you think. Coach CAmpbell
