What i like is you can send guys on a blitz in man to man. And run the same exact blitz with zone behind it. We had fun with it last year. I would send bothe dogs/spurs off the edge with the mike through an A Gap. The Ends would drop (hook/curl) into coverage. And the 2 stack backers would hit the flats. Cover 3 behind it. Called it Zebra-Doubledog-cover 3. My ends loved it because they hoped to get an interception. It never happened though. Lots of fun!
Coach, we play Cover 3 or occasionally Robber coverage behind our 4 and 5 man pressure. We do not zone blitz however, as we simply void one of the underneath zones in coverage, dropping six when sending two backers.
