Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Run right at it. Also, if you have a TE and FB that can play, regular old downblock kick gives you good angles to combo to the sam and kick out the spur.

Play-action it to death. Inside Zone. Lead-Draw.
If you can formation it (like with a TE and Wing / TE-trips look), run Stretch, Toss, and Speed Option at it.
You can probably pick on the Flat areas if they play a lot of Cover 3. It's difficult for those far-outside linebackers to cover the flats if you are attacking the edge with the run game.
Get in different formations and see how they align (or don't align), and then figure out how to best attack. Also, once again, Play-Action it to death.
Most people spend their whole lives wondering
whether or not they make a difference…
FOOTBALL COACHES don't have that problem.
As well as this being my first post on this site (which is tremendous BTW) This past season was my first year coaching football and I ran a 3-5-3 on defense and had tremendous success at the 8th grade level.
Alot of the ideas I've read on here about attacking it make alot of sense, the only thing I'm confused about is "staying patient".

Patient I would assume means staying ith the scheme and let it work. The 3.5.3 causes people alot of promblems early especially with the offensive line working to pick up all the different slantig and blitz possibilities. Alt of deception with the 3.5.3. Coach Campbell
