Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I run a 5-3 that shifts the nose either A gap, tackle on nose's side is in C gap, end shades to the outside shoulder of TE, other side tackle is in B gap, other side end is head up on TE.
Here's the formation I'll see. It's a tight formation with both wingbacks right off the tackle's outside leg, and the SE right next to the wings on the line...
SE----TGCGTTE

How would I align a 5-3 against that, and what would the man responsibilities be for a pass? Thanks in advance.
So pass responsibilities would be CB on SE, Sam on wing #1, FS/Mike on inside slot guy (seems like a lot of ground to cover, and backside CB on backside TE?
If you play Cover 0 MAN - you can leave the ILBers on the Guards (which is what we like vs. Trips).
Corners have #1 on each side (counting from outside-in) F/S has #2 on Trips side OLB has #3 on Trips side. ILBers align on Guards & combo off #2 (the one back)
