Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Coaches would you rather play zone and rush 4 or play man, man/free and bring the pressure against a team that MAX protects and sends 2-3 in a pattern?

No matter what you decide to do you can always bring one more defender than the offense has to pick him up with. The key is how and where to bring him without tipping your hat. Coach CAmpbell
I feel that my blitzing is designed to get the offense to commit to max protection. With that accomplished I am more than happy to play 7 pass defenders vs. 2 or 3 receivers.
Ace back behind the weak OT TE and flanker aligned in slot next to each other on the strong side. TWO SE's.
The SE's free release. flanker, TE and ace back all check out in protection. We can block up to 8 guys and if you bring 9, the SE's will run a post pattern for a big play. The only guy we could not account for would be the FS. But the QB is reading the FS anyway and if he sees him come, he knows there is going to be a big void in the middle of the field for one or both of our SE's.
