I Appreciate Our Youth Coaches

Coach Dave,

I would rather have a root canal done, than lose! But, some days just belong to the other team, no matter how hard we play! To hold a team to 6 points that sounds like one of the best teams in your league, shows me that you were well prepared, fought hard, it was just one of those days that belong to the other team. From the compliment that Coach Campbell gave you in his post pertaining to your running of a solid program, that speaks volumes to me. I know you will sit down with your staff, define your goals for this week, implement a way to overcome the obstacles that will prevent your game plan from coming to fruition. Then, this Saturday you will go right back to the game field and give it your best shot all over again! A loss is history, after looking at game film and determining what caused that loss, setting a new plan of attack to offset those defeciencies and getting on with it.
