Do you attend any clinics during the off-season and if so, which ones have you found most useful to you? Have you attended any clinics strictly focused on the youth game or were they primarily intended for high school coaches? If you were to attend a Youth Coaching clinic, what kind of topics would you most like to see covered and why?
Thanks,

To anyone who is looking for youth coaching info, I think Dave Hartman offers as good a program as anyone in the country. I'm sure if he puts on a clinic, you who coach our youth woud benefit greatly from it! He is dedicated as they come, extremely knowledgable and in close proximity to Coach Campbell who works very closely with him.

Thanks Coach Easton... the check's in the mail! Seriously though, thanks for the very kind words coach.
The idea of trying to put together a clinic has crossed my mind and if it happens I would undoubtedly look to involve Coach Campbell as much as possible. Coach Cella is right in that the Glazier/Megaclinics are beginning to offer a speakers dedicated to discussing youth football at many of their clinics during 2005. Although I've found the Glazier clinics I've attended in the past to be very informative, most topics are really geared to high school level coaches. For any youth coaches who'd like to attend one of their clinics, I'd recommend visiting Riddell.com as they've sponsored free registration to all Glazier clinics for all volunteer youth coaches the past couple of years. A very generous offer on their part that hopefully many youth coaches will take full advantage of!
Getting ready to play in our league's championship game this Saturday coach. It's the rematch with the team that got us 6-0 the first time around. Should be a lot of fun and a great game for the kids, fans and us as coaches. I feel pretty good about our chances to get it done this time. I'll be sure to let you know how things turn out. Thanks again for the support Coach Easton.

I'm sure the Megaclinics are great, or Lou would not have offered their name. But, after communicating with you for the last 6 months, seeing your degree of preparation and dedication to the youth program and exposing yourself to Coach Campbell's methodology of running a team at the next level up from you, is very refreshing to me. Unless the kids get a proper start, they will have a long way to go when they move up. You are to be commended and recognized for your work, as it is definitely above the norm.
