For Offensive tackles pulling on counter (I know oneback, pull the te or the fb,, I like doing that too, but hard to do out of doubles gun)
I see a lot of teams asking their Pulling tackles to turn and run like an old guard trap, then turn upfield. Some of the bigger ol guys turn like the titanic and are not in a good power position when pulling up into the hole. When I first started coaching this was how I coached it, as that is how I was coached to do it. But people learn new stuff.
Something I picked up a few years back was to have them take a drop step with their playside foot, crossover and then head downhill into the hole with their shoulders square. This gets those bigger bodies heading in the right direction with some power behind them when they get to contact. This enables them to adjust better on the fly because their hips are already turned. It also allows them to SEE where they need to scrape up through. It enables them to see who they are going to blocked.
