Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I was in Irvine this weekend an heard you explain a balanced stance. You said that there has been a move away from the staggered stance with the right handed (right side) and left handed (left side) stances. Would you please repeat your explanation. Thank you.

Coach because most blocking schemes have gone to a zone style of play this means that offensive lineman will step equally to either side with not many blocking schemes taking them straight ahead this is the reason for the balanced stance, the balanced stance also helps the pass set with the inside anchor and sholder in the hole. Hey Coach Campbell, Great site. Coach Vint told us about it at the Mega Clinic this past weekend. What are your thoughts regarding linemen being in 4 pt. stances. This year i am going to have an openside and tight side of the line and I really like the way some of our opponents come off the ball and stay low being in 4 pt. stances. Can we still be successful running our option stuff?

Coach F thanks for coming to our site it is a pleasure to have you here and the comments that you provide. I don't coach the 4 point stance for several reaqsons and one is the passing game, I don't think you can set as well from a four point as you can from a 3 point. The other reason is that I run zone blocking schemes that require our lineman to move right and left and not as much straight ahead. The pass set must look like the run stance for our offense.
