Coaches for the last five years I have gone to the Glazier/Megaclinics. They are awesome clinics. However, I am going to attend the Nike Clinic in Allentown, PA. Mike Sewak from Georgia Southern and Jeff Monken from Navy are going to be speaking on the triple option. This is something that I simply must attend. Coaches, my question to you is the following: What is your opinion of the Nike clinics in terms of what they offer and what they do not offer. I await your responses and thank you.

Glazier clinics are awesome. They have great "nuts and bolts" stuff. I would not miss them for anything. Our Nike Clinic in Minnesota is not that great anymore. I started going to them in 1999. I thought it was pretty good. But each year since it has gone downhill. It has become more of a social event. Now don't get me wrong, I still take info away from (most) of the speakers, but if I could only attend one clinic it would be Mega/Glazier all the way.

The Nike Clinics are good, but you can buy the mannual in the summer. The talks are normally 1 hour in length and are less detailed than the Glazier Clinics. IMHO Glazier clinics give you much more for the money. Most speakers at Glazier speak for 3 hours or more over a subject area. They tend to be much more detailed and more useful in installing an offense or defense.

The Megaclinic in Chicago was very good last year. A very good mixture of college (all levels), pro, and even high school coaches discussed a wide range of topics.
It was probably the best clinic we have ever attended.
We are going to the University of Illinois clinic this spring. We have a kid playing down there, so it will be fun to watch him at practice.
