I was wondering how many other coaches on here went to the New York High State High School Football Coaches Association conference at Turning Stone Casino this past weekend. I attended and definitely had a favorite presenter. Gerry Azzinaro of Duke presented on Force run defense and Robber coverages. He did an excellent job of explaining both and the reasons behind playing both. He was also extremely entertaining. If anyone ever has a chance to learn from him, I highly recommend it. As a young coach trying to gather as much information as possible, I just wish there was more time to pick his brain. Overall, the conference was excellent with a ton of good presenters. The nightlife in the casino wasn't bad either. (wink, wink) Just wondering if anyone had any other opinions on it. Thanks.
