Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
former great britain olympic sprinter has just signed for a team in my league! the english 100m runner was banned from competition for 2 years for a failed dope test but has just signed with the PA knights. he runs a 10.0/10.1 second 100m so it should be interesting to say the least. fortunately he plays the same position as me (so i wont have to come up against him) although it could mean i miss out on a place in the great britain squad!
should be interesting. just thought i would share with you guys.
i am glad to here that he made onto a pro team their in Britian. We had one of those guys play for the San Francisco 49ers back in the early 80s named Renaldo Nehamiah. Run straight patterns, couldnt cut or catch but boy was he fast, well until he met Charlie Waters on one of the most viscious hits i have ever seen, then no more renaldo. Tell him good luck and be greatful to be playing.

BOB HAYES WAS ONE TRACK STAR WHO HELD THE TITLE OF 'WORLD'S FASTEST HUMAN' AT ONE POINT IN HIS CAREER AND WAS SUCCESSFUL IN MAKING THE TRANISTION FROM THE CINDERS TO THE GRASS! HAVING LIVED IN JACKSONVILLE FOR 45 YEARS OR SO, AND COACHING AT A HS THAT HOSTED THE "BOB HAYES INVITATIONAL" TRACK MEET EACH YEAR, HE WAS ALWAYS IN ATTENDANCE WHEN HE WAS ABLE TO BE IN TOWN. I OFTEN HEARD COACHES SAY THAT HE REALLY NEVER KNEW HOW FAST HE REALLY COULD RUN, AS HE ALWAYS RAN JUST FAST ENOUGH BEAT TO HIS NEAREST COMPETITOR. ROGER STAUBACH SAID HE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WITH HIS SPEED! RENALDO NEAMIAH COULD FLY, BUT HE COULDN'T CATCH VERY WELL. AS THE POSTER ABOVE MENTIONED, HE WAS THE FIRST REAL TRACK GUY TO TRY AND PLAY BIG TIME FOOTBALL. WILLIE GAULT IS ANOTHER WHO COMES TO MIND THAT COULD FLY AND PLAY PRETTY WELL ALSO.

Gault, Walker and Moses all showed up for the bobsled 1 month before the event. Some fool in the bobsled federation got the notion that you can simply insert 3 fast guys with a driver and place in the olympics. You really have to laugh at some of these guys operating at the olympic level! Would you do that with your team?
I have a kid that won a bronze medal in the 4 man bobsled at the last olympics and he has told me on numerous occasions about the politics involved in getting a place on the sled. Those 3 guys took 3 other sledders positions on a moments notice when the true bobsledders had sacrified for 4 years to get there. How's that for politics?
Makes me kind of sick to think something as great as the olympics is really so fragile....
MOST OF US WHO HAVE SPENT THE VAST MAJORITY OF OUR CAREERS ON THE HS LEVEL, STILL LIKE TO THINK THAT WE CAN SOMEHOW MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THINGS. THE LEVEL I COACH AT FOR THE PAST 11 YEARS NOW, I STILL FEEL THE SAME WAY AS I TAKE ATHLETES WHO DID NOT GET DRAFTED COMING OUT OF COLLEGE AND GIVE THEM A LEGITMATE CHANCE TO GO TO THE NEXT LEVEL. WITH ONLY 32 TEAMS DRAFTING 7 PLAYERS EACH ( 224 TOTAL) AND KNOWING THAT THERE IS 10 TIMES THAT MANY THAT CAN PLAY IF GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY, I HAVE IDEALS AND PRINCIPLES THAT I KNOW ARE MORE THAN WORTHWHILE FOR MY YOUNG MEN, ETC. BUT, ONCE YOU CLEAR THE HS RANKS THE GAME TAKES ON ANOTHER DIMENSION ALL TOGETHER! IT IS STRICTLY ABOUT MONEY (COLLEGE BALL IS PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL WITHOUT THE PLAYERS GETTING PAID, ONLY THE SCHOOL!) AND NO MATTER WHAT THE SPORT, THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR RULES! THOSE BOB SLEDDERS GETTING BUMPED IS JUST ONE OF A MILLION STORIES SUFFERED BY ATHLETES WHO ARE THERE FOR ALL THE RIGHT REASONS, JUST GETTING PLAIN RIPPED!!! THERE IS AN OLD SAYING: "THE RICH HAVE THOSE OF US WHO ARE NOT, IN THEIR BACKPOCKETS!" THIS CAN NOT BE BORNE OUT IN ANY BETTER ARENA THAN SPROTS! I KNOW KIDS ON THE COLLEGE LEVEL WHO COULDN'T TIE THEIR OWN SHOES AND CHEW GUM AT THE SAME TIME, YET LET DADDY KICK IN A LARGE DONATION TO THE SPORTS PROGRAM AND THE NEXT DAY THE KID BECOMES A STARTER! I'VE SEEN IT HAPPEN, NOT JUST HEARSAY! MY SON PLAYED ON A FULL SCHOLARSHIP FOR A LARGE DIV 1-A UNIVERSITY. BY NCAA RULES HE COULD NOT EVEN WASH CARS TO EARN ENOUGH MONEY FOR A DATE, OR A HAMBURGER, ETC. BUT IT WAS COMMON TO BE OFFERED CASH FROM BOOSTERS. FOOTBALL WAS MORE IMPORTANT TO HIM THAN ANY BOOSTER MONEY, BUT LOTS OF PLAYERS TAKE ALL THEY CAN GET. THEY KNOW IT IS ILLEGAL, CAN COST THEM THEIR COLLEGE CAREERS, ETC. BUT NO LONGER CARE BECAUSE THEY CAN PLAY PRO BALL ANYWAY WITHOUT ANY RULES TO FOLLOW THAT GOVERNS MONEY PAID THEM. ENJOY YOUR HS LEVEL COACHING, IT IS THE BEST JOB IN THE USA!!!

In response to the question about college football being business. I agree, except that d3 is an entirely different animal. Granted, there are a lot better high school teams than a lot of d3 teams around the country, but I don't believe it's about business on that level.
Has to be about business on any level of college football, or pro football coach. I hear what your saying and feel as though I fully comprehend it, but the fact is it HAS to be about money in order to maintain the program. The lesser the fan base, the harder it becomes to maintain. I speak from first hand experience.

I don't know what experience you have with D3, but after that comment, I don't suspect very much. D3 football may not have the physical specimens that you see at Miami, Georgia, USC, LSU, etc., but there are some darn good athletes that come through D3. Yes, the division is based more on academics, graduation rates, developing good citizens, etc. But there are probably very few, if any, D3 programs that would lose to a high school team. As for being about business, if it weren't about business, D3 coaches would never lose their jobs, recruiting local athletes (for the purpose of putting parents in the seats on Saturdays) wouldn't be a concern and money used to enhance athletic facilities in order to GET these recruits wouldn't not exist.
I know from personal experience, that D3 is more of a business that one would think. It's not a bunch of po-dunk, slow, un-athletic athletes playing for uneducated, low-budget, non-motivated coaches who work for unconcerned about money administrations, as many may think. It is a business at ANY level, as Tiger One stated.
