We have the NY barbell glute/ham raise. We don't have the "reverse hyperextension" piece. But what we did is put bands around the base of the machine and you can strap them around your ankles for hypers and around your neck for GHR's. Its not the best machine around for GHRs, but it does work. With the bands around your neck, it works VERY GOOD.
I don't know about the "hyper" piece that goes with it. It doesn't look too sturdy, but I don't know personally.
