Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
We have a BFS Glute-Ham machine - we use it for GHR, hypers and ab work (just like they say on their website) - would it be safe/effective to do reverse hypers on it until we can make space/money (ha! that would be a trick if we could "make" money!) for a reverse hyper bench??
I confess that I tried after class today - felt reasonably comfortable and effective but of course I only did a few! Thoughts???
PS - I have your email permanently open - THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm trying to figure it all out! As the AD/Football Coach and lone strength coach (loosely qualified albeit!) I also try to encourage/require our 300+ in-season athletes to train properly - not to mention the off-season kids in all sports --- so I'm trying to figure out the "schedule"!!!!! I'll let you know when I hit the wall and need your help again!!
If you can figure out a way to hook up bands around the base, then yes you can do what is close to a reverse hyper. You can even weld some sort of handles on the machine (if you know somebody who can do this). Without the bands, they are too easy for most kids. With bands around the ankles, they become much harder.
