Coaches,
When you hear a coach say ""If someone would throw a split-six defense out there, there are about three plays that will tear them up alive, You don't mess with the other plays. If those three plays don't get it, if they don't do it for you, you're going to lose anyway. You have to force them out of the defense."
What plays do you feel will beat the split six. I am talking DE's in 7 tech to TE or 5 tech to OT with DT's in 3 tech strong and 2i tech (1 tech) weak. That should only give you "A" gap strong and "b" gap weak. The problem is that outside linebacker are on the LOS about a yard to three yards off the TE or OT and the inside linebackers are stacked behind the above free gaps.
