I am looking for some insights on what other coaches do with regards to offensive cut-ups. This is the second year I've done it (used iMovie only...which was a tremendous investment in time) but I'm wondering what you guys do. How many clips do you include (good and bad plays, good reads and bad reads, vs. different fronts, coverages, etc.)? Also, aside from you own uses, what do you do with the cut-ups? We use it during our camp and pre-season, but I'm wondering what more I should be doing. Thanks for any insight.

Option Coach,I make my cut ups by just recording off of the VCR.It is time consuming and sometimes not very good but I enjoy watching and doing it.I break down my cut ups by play, and I only put the good ones on it.I trade these films with other coaches so I can see their blocking assignments/adjustments.I also use it as a training film for my QB's,RB's,WR's and O-Line.It is the same as watching film of a previous game but just offense. If you are interested in trading, let me know.I trade with every type of offense, not just the flexbone that I run.
