ONE THING! There is a very good Division I head coach (no names mentioned) in the state of Virginia that puts ALL his good athletes on OFFENSE. That is why he has to hire a NEW "DC" about every 2 or 3 years! I would HOPE you would have access to the talent pool, or I WOULDN'T consider the job!

Coach, the last DC job interview I walked into I showed them a playbook and outline my thoughts on defensive football. I was lucky in that I had already secured a teaching job first so my meeting was with the Head Coach and all of the assistants. Someone from the meeting later told me that I had truly sold them on my 5-2 defense and it put me over the top. Get yourself organized and have a couple of playbooks to pass out. Good Luck!
