This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I am curious on how you would align (in the Multiple 40) against a Formations having twins on one side and trips on the other. Ran up against this in the quaterfinals and would like a better solution next time. Thanks

coach the primary rule for establishing your coverage assignments would be as follows. Corners align on number 1 ( outside receivers ) outside inverts would align on number 2 inside and the free safty always aligning on number 3 inside. So to answer your question to the twins side you would have the rover and corner. To the trips side it would go corner on the outside against number 1 and then the Sam or outside invert against number 2 and then the free safety aligned over number 3 counting in from the outside. Hope this helps Coach CAmpbell
This is the same alignment that we currently use. I guess I am curious as to what coverage(s) you might use. I am real curious about the twins side, because of the FS adjusting to the Trips side. My concern is a vertical by #2 weak or a skinny post by eighter. Thanks for your help.

Coach in order to guard against that go to a 30 front that takes a defensive lineman out of the game and then allows another cover guy to come in and then he can play over the top of number two and behind the rover on the twins side. Coach CAmpbell
