Shotgun Double Option

It is MORE of a TRIPLE OPTION, because the QB can pitch on the shovel, keep the ball, or pitch to the trailing back. I have run it with the FIRST two options, but never the third (Purdue called that the "REVERSE OPTION").

I saw the play at a clinic, and it was called a "double option" as you described, to me it could be a tripple.
The read is as coach campbell described at the DE or 5 technique, if the QB is looking at the 5 tech. he looks at the numbers, if he see's the chest numbers he pitches, if he see's the outside shoulder numbers he keeps. I quess the third option could be to pitch out to the halfback this could be a nice addition to the play.
