Assuming you're NOT reading it and just running the predetermined dive option...are you blocking the 3 or 5 tech? If so how are you blocking it?

The freeze option as run by Syracuse(similar scheme to Georgia Southern trap option) had the tackle release inside of a 5 tech and the BSG pulling and logiging the 5tech, TE arc released and QB pitched off of emol. If the DT was inside the OT he blocked him inside and BSG wrapped around for the LB. QB faked midline to FB and optioned of EMOL - depending on your guards ability to log and the type of defenses you see this scheme will get the LB's sealed inside. Alternative to the BSG pull is to have your OT Reach a 5tech. The advantage of the BSG pull is the idea of using the DT's reaction to the OT's release inside to set up the play.
