Goal line offense?

We try not to put ourselves into goal line situations coach. I know this sounds kind of funny and of course we are still there in the red zone alot but we try to eliminate the chance for the defense to jump into their goal line d. What we try to do is put the football in the endzone before we get inside the 15-20 yard line. I believe that most d coordinators switch to their goal line d whenever they are backed up inside the 20 and beyond. So we will run our reverse, screens, draws, fades etc, and what we believe to be our big yardage plays right before we get into the zone. 15-25 yards out. We are 95% shotgun and it becomes really hard when the field gets shorter down at the goal line so I feel this is the best way to attack them. We do still run goal line offense but alot of what we do is still gun and we try to run bunch stuff. You can create alot of confusion with bunch routes down on the goal line.

My suggestion is to use your trick play about 20-25 yards out of the zone instead of on your own 20!
