What states or major cities off this? I know some districts require the AD to be a teacher. How difficult is it to get a position like this? What is the typical pay?

Coach Nicholson, my AD was the previous HC for just one season. He is now my OC. I should tell you that he is also the HC of the varsity basketball team. Part of the reason that he stepped down as HC of football is that in Chicago Public Schools, as far as I am aware, you can not be the AD and HC of more than 1 major varsity sport for more than 1 season. It has worked out well for our staff. Last season I was the third HC in three years so some continuity was good for us even though our record was poor.
