Question about film time

watch friday night's game as an offensive staff on saturday morning (defense does same). critique, grade, etc. and decide upon any issues that need to be dealt with in the upcoming weak (personnel changes, scheme changes, what needs more work, etc.)....this takes about 2 hours. then we start charting opponent's game film. we break it down into a chart (down-distance, hash, yd line, personnel group, formation, play-type, front, stunt, coverage). we usually do 3 games. all this information is then put into our computer scouting system and attached to the specific plays. we usually get done with this about 2 pm or so. make a first run on the report and leave by 3 pm. on sunday, we come in and pull specific situatons off the computer and watch those clips...(our film is cut and labeled on the computer based on the data we input from sat.). we will watch film and game plan 4 to 6 hours on sunday. we break it up....like, what we will do from our 22 personnel...we watch their defense vs 22 packages, etc. we make our scouting report and cut-up tapes for the week and then leave.
