1. yes, if # 1 receiver over splits from the EMOLOS. if the safety cannot cover #1 on a vertical route, be check "sky". both the CB and Safety play 1/4 coverage.
2. depends on the split of # 1 receiver if the safety can play the vertical route. see above answer.
3. we drop the OLB to the Hash marks and the MLB to the HOLE. we settle at about 10 yards and collision any routes that come in our area. we don't chase crossers. we do some route reading progressions after they learn their drops.
4. nothing, don't let the offense dictate what you want to run. remember its jimmies and joes not X's and O's.
