Are there any HC's out there who coordinate the special teams, ala Frank Beamer at Va. Tech?
How are your special teams responsibilities distributed? We have a special teams coordinator. Then each assistant coach assists him with one or two particular special teams. I, for instance, being the DC, help him with the punt return and FG block teams, as they are primarily defensive personnel. How do you organize your special teams?
Do any of you have what you consider to be unique approaches to special teams, particularly with regard to coaching assignments? We're always looking for an edge in that department. Thanks in advance.
