Just wanted to let all you guys who wanted me to let them know how we faired in our preseason opener last night, we got 'em 23-6! Great night for football and we were just completeing our 31st week of off season preparation in the weight room, cardiovascular enhancement, conditioning, and class room. It paid off very well. Lots to work on of course, on both sides of the ball but it was a good solid effort by everyone. Special teams and our kicking game were just really juiced and coverage was very satisfactory for this juncture. They couldn't deal with my 5 wide empty, having lots of motion and our shifts to contend with, we were finding 2 guys wide open all night on all kinds of patterns. Surprised me really as they run a conventional gun themselves. At any rate, just thought I would let those know who had asked me to keep them informed of our results.
